The Regional Energy Policy Partnership brings together South Asian elected officials who have a background and interest in energy issues to discuss strategies to facilitate optimal, rational use of clean energy for increased access within nations and across borders in South Asia or via foreign direct investment. Key objectives of the partnership include:
- The maximum utilization of energy resources in the South Asia region through energy policy reform;
- And the promotion of energy markets and regional power trading by improving the exchange of information between South Asian countries.
