Welcome to this course on Contracts Design for Energy Trade. This course aims to provide:

• Understanding of the complex issues that surround the procurement of private power spanning national and international domains;
• Enhanced ability to plan in a sequential form the various stages of power procurement;
• Competence to design a winning strategy that includes policies and practices taking in to account the interests of all the stakeholders;
• Understanding of instruments that support the strategy for private power procurement;
• Exposure to a variety of perspectives: generic, real life & best practices and,
• Confidence to undertake overall responsibility or any specific assignment.
